We are so grateful to be celebrating 10 years of Wind Ridge Schoolhouse! All past and present Schoolhouse families are invited to celebrate the Winter Solstice and 10 Yrs of Wind Ridge Schoolhouse. We hope you can join us to reminisce, reconnect, and share light and love on the longest night of the year.

Parking
We encourage you to hike, bike, or carpool if you can! Parking is available at the Twin Ponds parking lot or on W 5th St and W 4th St. Please note that alternate side parking is in effect and will be enforced. 

Schedule for the Evening
4:30pm Self-guided luminary hike along Twin Ponds, the Wild Wood, and the Playscape
5pm Solstice Sing-along in the Wild Wood around the bonfire
5:30pm Solstice soup, mini sandwiches, cocoa, and wintery play

Glow Bracelets
We have glow bracelets for each year so you can find your friends in the dark! Glow bracelet stations are at the Schoolhouse porch and at Trail Center in the Wild Wood. Please stop by when you arrive to get your glow bracelet. You’ll need to recall the year your child graduated and received their Monarch wings so we can get you the right glow bracelet color. 

Lexi Love
Ms. Lexi will be at the solstice celebration from 4:30 - 5pm. She has both the solstice party and a winter camping solstice birthday extravaganza for her partner on 12/20! Make sure to stop by her glow bracelet station at the Schoolhouse porch for some Lexi love before she leaves for her adventure. 

Sign-up Genius to Share Your Time, Talent, or Treasure 
Please sign-up here to share your time, talent, or treasure. Donations are welcome and appreciated to assist with the cost of meal, food, and celebration. Any remaining funds from the donations will be sent to fellow Cedarsong Way School, Asheville Farmstead School, who have been recovering from Hurricane Helene. The donations will be used to reduce tuition costs for families struggling in the aftermath of the hurricane.

Schoolhouse Summer Camp 2025
Last summer we held our first Schoolhouse Summer Camp! We heard feedback from the Schoolhouse community that older children would like to return to play. Please take this survey if your child has interest in returning to the Schoolhouse for summer camp adventures next summer.
